Epic/Dimensions: Our practice is currently transitioning to a new computer system. This has been, and continues to be, a very time consuming and frustrating experience, BUT we now see a the light at the end of the tunnel! Please be patient with us as we work our way through this transition. The end product will be fantasitc! At some point in the future patients will be able to log into the system from their computer and review labs, make appointments, request refills, etc.!!!
We Welcome our New Physician: Dr. Kristina Leake. Dr. Leake received her bachelor’s degree from Clemson University and medical degree from the University Of South Carolina School Of Medicine. She completed her OBGYN residency training at Carolinas Medical Center here in Charlotte in 2011 where she served as co-administrative chief resident. Dr. Leake’s professional interests include minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, adolescent gynecology, as well as general and high-risk obstetrics. We will be updating our website soon.

Dr. Wood recently attended an advanced DaVinci surgery course taught by Dr.Arnold Advincula. Dr. Advincula is a nationally/internationally respected expert in DaVinci/robotic surgery. The course focused on complicated and advanced gynecologic procedures.

Feb 8&9. 2011 Dr. James Hardy and Dr. Greg Parker completed an Advanced Gynecologic Surgery course under the directorship of Dr. Arnold Advincula. Dr. Advincula is a nationally/internationally respected robotic gynecologic surgeon. This course was held at Celebration Hospital in Celebration, FL and had an emphasis on advanced and complicated robotic procedures.
1/18/2011 DaVinci Robot Test Drive 630-830 AM and 300-500 PM Novant Healthcare employees and physicians are invited to test drive the robot. We will be avaialble to answer questions regarding robotic surgery and give you an opportunity to perform a skills drill on the robot. Location is the Presbyterian Hospital Women's Center Conference Room.
